Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 April 2026

1. Service overview

World News Today is a news discovery and summarisation service. We organise and present global news information in a structured format for general information use only.

2. Accounts

Certain features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

3. Public plans

  • Free: A simple daily snapshot so you are never fully out of the loop.
  • Plus: Full access for people who want deeper context and broader daily coverage.

4. Billing and renewal

Plus subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Refunds

First-time Plus subscriptions may be refunded within 7 days of the initial charge if the account has not shown substantial paid usage. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, copy, redistribute, or resell the service or its content without written permission.
  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls, account restrictions, or security measures.
  • Do not use bots or automation to extract content from the service.
  • Do not introduce malicious code, malware, or abusive traffic.

7. Third-party sources

Original rights in third-party news content remain with their respective publishers and owners. We provide organisation, discovery, ranking, and summary layers. Users should refer to original source links for full context.

8. No warranty

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness, or error-free operation.

9. Liability limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount paid by you to us in the 3 months before the claim or SGD 50.

10. Governing law

These terms and policies are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
